Trump indicates US won’t seek memorandum of understanding extension following conclusion of 60-day ceasefire

The memorandum of understanding that the United States and Iran agreed to in June called for a 60-day ceasefire so the two sides could negotiate an end to the war, but that time frame expired on Monday without a long-term agreement in place.

President Donald Trump indicated in the Oval Office on Monday that he would not seek an extension of the ceasefire.
